Redding Oil Company
The company is a full line petroleum product distributorship, marketing gasoline, diesel, kerosene, lubricating oils, greases, accessories, and convenience grocery products. We haul petroleum products for hire under the name "Reiser-Morgan Tank Lines" and operate a petroleum product distributorship in Red Bluff under the name "Fisher Oil Company."
The company sells products to 1500 commercial, industrial, agricultural, governmental, and other consumer accounts, and through 16 branded and unbranded retail outlets in Northern California, five of which are company owned and operated. We also provide a network of 10 fuel cardlocks.
We operate four 8900 gallon tank truck and trailers which transport motor fuels from supplier terminals in Chico, Sacramento and the Bay Area directly to larger consumer and retail customers, to company owned retail stores and cardlocks, and to the company's bulk storage facility in Red Bluff, California. The company delivers to smaller customers with one 2500 gallon and three 4000 gallon tankwagons based in Red Bluff and Redding. It also hauls for hire for Holiday Markets and other customers under California Public Utilities Commission authority.
Since the company was founded in 1939, our basic marketing goal always has been to provide overall customer satisfaction. We also realize that long-term customer satisfaction cannot be maintained without a good group of conscientious employees. Our sales and office personnel have been with us an average of 16 years and our convenience store personnel have been with us an average of 7 years.
